I got this song from an old Hank Snow and Anita
Carter Album and really liked the Mexican "feel" of it.

Actually I thought the City of Monterey was in
Texas but according to a search.. Google says it
is California. Maybe there's two Montereys?

Here's the link to my recording and I would
appreciate any clarification comments.

Roy, as usual your playin is inspiring but I expected no less from you. Keep em comin boy! Monterey, Ca. is a beautiful place with a lot of the Spanish influences visible everywhere. You can even feel it when your there and I can see it inpiring a beautiful song like this one.

There IS a Monterey in Mexico, as well. One of the big battles of the Mexican war was fought there if I remember my history right.

Roger, what I did was, I opened it with Windows Media Player then I clicked on file and save as. If you still can't save it email me and I'll send it to you. Beautiful tune isn't it?

Thanks fellas for the comments and input.
I am sorry some have difficulty opening my
files and suspect it is related to your
default Player settings? That's about all
the help I can offer.

Best Regards,

Roy
