I got this song from an old Hank Snow and Anita
Carter Album and really liked the Mexican "feel" of it.
Actually I thought the City of Monterey was in
Texas but according to a search.. Google says it
is California. Maybe there's two Montereys?
Here's the link to my recording and I would
appreciate any clarification comments.

Roy, as usual your playin is inspiring but I expected no less from you. Keep em comin boy! Monterey, Ca. is a beautiful place with a lot of the Spanish influences visible everywhere. You can even feel it when your there and I can see it inpiring a beautiful song like this one. |

There IS a Monterey in Mexico, as well. One of the big battles of the Mexican war was fought there if I remember my history right. _________________ Amor vincit omnia |

Thanks fellas for the comments and input.
I am sorry some have difficulty opening my
files and suspect it is related to your
default Player settings? That's about all
the help I can offer.
Best Regards,
