I am using the TT12 Quilter with the 202 Tone block. I have two of them and very happy with them and they are great for the back being so light. I still have a Nashville 112 and a Nashville 400 as backups but I needed to clean up some room in the garage so I decided to sell the Walker rig.

Jim, Thank you for your kind words here and elsewhere. They mean a lot to someone who was so nervous doing his first show. Congrats to Steve, Christopher, Jacob, Doug Livingston, Travis, Jay Dee, Rick and all those who did such a great job performing. One of the best shows I've attended. You are tru...

Thanks Doug for your kind words. It means a lot coming from a player like you. I have been a fan of yours since the days you were in "Fools Gold" and you were one of my inspirations to learn steel. Having said that, every time I hear you play classical on steel, I have to pick up my jaw of...

Lexicon Mpx1 Help with programming.....

I just purchased an mpx1 and I thought I would be able to find youtube or other references for programming and have been unable to do so unbelievably. The Pdf manual only has about 2-3 pages and is so unclear as how to change the parameters that I've given up. Does anyone know how to program these o...

I have been a Jay Dee Maness fan for years and have had the pleasure of actually getting to know him over the past few years. This is one of the best and most unique Steel albums ever made and it truly affirms the fact when people say no one plays like Jay Dee. It is an outstanding production by Ski...

Buddy's Boogie

Roger, I apologize for any inaccuracies about my youtube post. Like I said, I never heard the song until about 2 or 3 years ago when I saw Doug Jernigan do it at the Phoenix steel show. I don't know if Buddy E. recorded it with Jimmy Dickens also. I bought the Texas Troubadors instrumental album and...
