Yes, unfortunately there isn't much demand for RtR tape any more - just a few of us dyed in the wool purists use them. I think I paid about $100 for my AMPEX 10 years ago. Still today, if you aren't working in digital, they are the best of the best.

Since there doesn't seem to be much online in the way of sheet music for Country, what would be your recommendations for the best compilations of Country Music?

I have done quite a bit of inlay work and always use ordinary carpenter's glue, white or yellow.

I suppose it was a Steel Guitar Christmas in a way since it all started this fall. The 1934 National Trojan restoration will be complete in a week or two and I am thinking (<-- bad idea!) about the possibility of restoring an electric lap or pedal steel. (We have long cold winters here in Manitoba!) If anybody has a beat up piece of "junk" collecting dust in the basement...
