Bent, I agree. I've seen other pics of Justice guitars and picked up on some of the details you explained. Everything just seems so well put together. Like I said I'm really looking forward to hearing David play this guitar. Maybe David will be so kind and do a review on Youtube?

I'm confused Paul...
Do I tune every thing to 440 (pedals and all) and then go back and tune my E's to 442?

I have two k12's... and love these speakers. Like Mickey, I have these in my studio so they never leave the house. I tried the k8, k10 and they all sound good but I decided on the k12's because they had a little more deep end in the sound. I may add a k-sub in the future for fun but I don't need one...

Need advise on a repertoire

I need to find about 20 songs, that include steel guitar. for a typical country danse band I'd like to start. I'm hoping for a repertoire of songs that are sure winners for bringing people out on the dance floor. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

During my first few years of playing I never used to break strings. As my playing got more advanced (for me anyway) I started to break more strings, at least every couple of months. I really love the LKL lever that raises the 1st string. So it really takes a beating.

I can get sore too if I haven't played for a few days. It gets better after a while.
The more I play the less sore I get.

C6 chord help needed

What pedals and or lever are used to make a major, minor and 7 chords on a standard C6?
I have a cheat sheet that shows me what the pedals and knee levers do with standard grips on the E9 at open position but can seem to find one for the C6.

Peter i'd go for the Carter D10. I have one, and they are really great guitars.
You have all the pedals and knees plus the option of playing C6.
I'm glad I bought a pro guitar.

When I started 3 years ago I bought a Carter D10. Best decision I ever made.
After playing the E9 neck for the first two years I tried the C6 neck and I'm having just as much fun if not more with that.
If you can.... find a used Carter. They are great guitars.

Buying strings from the Steel Guitar Forum Store

I ordered 2 sets of Jagwire strings here at the Steel Guitar Forum Store 5 days ago and they've already arrived at my house here in Norway. :D
I'll be changing my strings more often now that I've found this great source for Steel Guitar strings.
