I met Ferlin in 1962 in Beeville Tx I was on the board of governers for inlisted mens club I got him and his band to come perform for us. I had him sign the back side of my oldest daughters picture the only thing I had to write on. Ferlin has always been a good friend. we will really miss him.Jim

I got hurt and had to downsize sold my Gretsh Nashville Classic I bought a cheap fender squire tele I need a old used hard case for it. if anybody's got one I would appreciate it.Don't have a lot of money.Thanks Jim

I played music with a steel player in RI that had a steel with the tuning keys on the right end instead of the left the pickup was on the right too.This was in problely 57 or 58 does anyone what kind of steel it was. I can't remember his name but he was good. thanks Jim

If you care to swap I got two amps to trade. a peavey 30watt tube with 15" speaker about one year old great shape. also a brand new Fender acoustic 30watt DSP amp.just bought I been wanting an amp like you got for sometime just not that much cash. thanks Jim

We lost a fiddle player early this morning. I know he didn't play steel but he was a fellow musician.

I pick lead guitar one night this guy walked up he was drunk big time he asked could I play under the double eagle I played wildwood flower instead he walked back up and said that's the best I ever heard under the double eagle played. I thank him
