Good luck on your new gig! That's great news.

Be sure to post any live gigs for those of us near the Boston area.

They can ask whatever they want, but none have sold for that rediculous price recently!

I guess they are hoping for an impulsive fool to see the listing.

I Saw Bert play in Brooklyn a few years ago. I love his style, ( mixture of British folk, and fingerstyle blues) and I love his "quirky" tenor voice. It was one of the best musical performances that I have ever seen. He has not played very often in this country, so I felt lucky to have had...

Wow, that is a beauty!

The white pad makes it very unique. It looks clean enough to play in an operating room!

Try sliding some dental floss under the pickup and "sawing" off the double stick, or simply lifting up.

It is an EMCI SD10. The bellcranks work with rods from either side. I think I will try messing around with the "C" pedal height, because the notes seem to move together pretty well, and the action isn't too stiff, (what do I know right? :!: The pedal height is now lower than the "B&qu...

E9 "C" pedal, Emmons setup, one bellcrank or two?

I'm a beginner and I am having trouble getting my "C" pedal to sound right. My steel has the "C" pedal set up with one bellcrank pulling strings 4 and 5. Is this common? What do most players have? I know that most of the problem is me, I just want to be sure that I'm not learning...

I would suggest simple white glue, because it cleans up with water. Or carpenter's glue like Titebond. If I had more experience I would try thin cyanoacrylate (from a good hobby shop). Just my humble opinion.

So sad to see him go. He was a great songwriter. What a loss. This one hits me in the gut pretty hard.

The reverb is fixed only with the delay. The reverb alone has a tone and reverb time control knob(s).

I have a conduit bender at home. A 3/4" EMT bender won't bend a tight enough radius. I'm looking for the aluminum legs. If anyone knows someone who will sell me a set, let me know.

Looking for folding pack a seat legs.

I am building my own seat and I can't seem to find a supplier for these. Can someone here on the forum sell me a set? Or at least steer me in the right direction! -Thanks

I hear you about the pink cord. The benefit is that it will never get stolen!

Thanks for all of the positive comments. This is a great forum. I am playing through a Deluxe Reverb, and I am getting a little crackle, and distortion, even without any pedals or volume pedal. Any Ideas?

My first pedal steel is an EMCI. I feel lucky.

Here are some pictures of my new (first) steel. I am new to the forum, and decided to go for a pro model for my first. Now the learning begins. This is an EMCI SD-10 that I got from Dana Flood in Bangor, Maine. He was a great guy to do business with, and I have nothing but good things to say about D...

I am another interested beginner in your area, well sort of (Nashua, New Hampshire). I am interested in seeing what you come up with for your first pedal steel. I am planning a trip to North Carolina this summer, and hope to check out Billy Cooper's in Orange, Virginia on the way. That is an amazing...
