I'm guessing 1960, 6 strings, whatever this Roy Rogers guitar was tuned too. I was into lap stuff from the very start.

OK, you'll need a 1/4" drill bit, a drill some rusty, dull tin snips. . . sorry I couldn't resist. I've got a 1930 Style 3 squareneck and I'm afraid to get my finger picks near it. I'm in the same position you are, how to amplify it. One thing I've tried without much success is "The Grip&q...

Trying to find some connection

I recently got a 1930 Squareneck Tricone with the name Ellen Goodart engraved on the neck. Does that name ring a bell with anyone?

NGD this afternoon

I was about 10 years old when my Mom took me to my first auction. This was in Virginia near D.C. around 1964 or so. There were tables and wagons all around the house stacked with stuff. I saw a table with a guitar and it was like a magnet. My Mom said she literally had to drag me away from there sev...

Here's a shot from our last gig

I do the steel parts, and extra guitar stuff in a Yes Tribute band. My Dual 6 Stringmaster is the ultimate tool for that job.

Found a beat to death and in pieces BR9 at a music store in Decatur IL. Paid very little and started the steep learning curve both in how to put it back together and how to learn to play it. I miss that steel; my Dual 6 Stringmaster is my favorite, but the BR9 was FUN!

1963 Fender Champ in a flawless brown case. Too cool, it's the perfect backup for my Dual 6 Stringmaster.

If it looks like, plays like, sounds like and has all the features like a Stringmaster; but you can't call it a Stringmaster, it must be a D 6 ;-)
