Learned from Don Mays yesterday that Margie passed away after a stint with cancer. A lot of you will remember that Margie played the ISGC many time. She was a very talented steel player and an extremely kind person. Have no further information at this tune. RIP Margie.

Oh no. Leonard T. was an absolute favorite at the ISGC. His music and most of all his humor was eagerly anticipated by all. I remember when he would come to my parents house for what4ver reason and he was so naturally entertaining that we always had a good time when he was around. RIP Leonard.

We are so sorry to hear this. The Scott family has know Roy and Barbara for many, many years. Prayers for Roy's friends and family. RIP Roy.

Sad news indeed. Chubby was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 2015. Prayers to his family. RIP Chubby.

Billy Robinson was elected into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1996. He was a tremendous steel player as well as the nicest person we knew. Condolences to his family. RIP Billy.

Chris I am so sorry. I will never forget the years Frank, as well as yourself, were die hard 'flag people". I missed him when he could no longer attend and enjoyed getting the occasional email from him. Sympathy and prayers for you and your family.

Frank Caruso has been a long time friend. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. God bless his friends and family. RIP Frank.

Larry Sasser was inducted into th3 Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 2011. He, as well as his wife Evelyn, were the nicest people we knew. REO Larry.

Rusty was inducted into the Pedal Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 2013. He was very gracious and his performance was perfection. RIP Rusty.

So sorry to hear this. Jim was a very big part of the ISGC for many, many years. His photographs remain the best of the best and always will be. RIP Jim.

Sandy, I am so so sorry to hear this. Having lost my own husband many years ago I know exactly how you feel. I shall always remember Pat as a very funny person and a talented musician. God bless you and your family.

Yes she was very tall (5'10"). People always said we looked alike but she always said she was younger and taller.

No. She was divorced with two kids, Randy and Samantha, and 4 grandchildren.

We are saddened to announce that one of Scotty’s daughters, Brenda, has passed away following a bout of cancer. Some of you may remember her selling CDs at the ISGC. She was very friendly and was liked by all who knew her. RIP Brenda.
