Roy Warhurst from Alberta Canada, left us June 28th. Roy was with Sons of the Pioneers and one of the prominent country musicians in Canada. I was privileged to be able to call him friend.

Roy probably played for more of Forum members than any other one person. Roy and Barbara have also probably prayed for more of us folk that have faced difficult situations. When I saw Bill, he was playing with Dottie and had a completely/everything, gold plated steel. Can't remember what brand it was. We had a steel player, Spike, Gary Spicer, here in Canada, who played a Marlin with barn door hinges hanging down for knee levers.

My skin is dry, so I've had trouble keeping my picks tight and not slip. I have bought and tried everything. You do see quite a few people lick their fingers before they put their picks on. I tried this, and have not had a problem since and it doesn't cost a lot.
