Now that's the truth.

Just getting into the PSG a little bit has opened up my musical boundaries a ton, and I've met some great people because of it - that is a fact.

Dammit, I started listening to country music last year!

:)

And I actually like some of it!

:P

Hey Doug,

I hope you know there is nothing personal with my selling this guitar!

:)

It's me that feels bad...I feel like I let it down.

Paul - it was nice to hear my PSG sound like a PSG. That's the only real love she's got in her life!

;)

I was actually surprised at how good it did sound!

I lost the bug - Stage One Pedal Steel (like new) for sale

As some of you may remember, I recently (about 8 months ago) had a nice Stage One Pedal Steel built for me. At the time, I wasn't playing much music, so I thought that I would have time to learn it, and love it. Well, shortly after receiving the guitar, I joined a band (as a bass player) and started...

Rick
I always thought there was a generations-old blood feud between the Oregon and Seattle steelers?

I saw a documentary once called Northwest Steelers: The Great Divide.

Okay, just looked up chord substitution. I always called it "playing other stuff that sounds good, too," so yes, I understand it.

I don't know - maybe.

I told him I'm a total newb on the PSG, so he knows what to expect.

Steve Norman wrote:Queen Anne,I live on Queen Anne,, wonder who it is.
Some dude named Travis Nelson. He plays acoustic guitar and has some written some tunes and he wants to hear them with some PSG.

He doesn't play PSG, but I think my previous post made it sound like he does.

In my short time playing the PSG, I've come to the conclusion that it is the ultimate in emotional instruments. That is, it's all about how you play, not what you play. I know this is really true for most instruments (sans the kazoo, and perhaps the slide whistle, although I am sure some kazooists a...

Nice to hear.

I am happy I spent the extra money and went with the Stage One over the Carter.

I like the extra weight, and from what I hear the Carters tend to slide around a lot when played.

I've been very happy with my Stage One over the last 9 days or so.

Help me expand my playlist...

If this needs to be moved, let it be... So, I want to expand my pedal steel listening, and I need some more suggestions. I prefer stuff that is slow to mid-tempo, more laid back. I don't like that fast pickin' stuff, I am a mellow dude. Anyhow, here is some stuff I have in my playlist now: She - Emm...

By the way, I am starting to get a grasp on the steel, and how the chords are clustered. I went ahead and folded up three of the knee levers - LKL, RKL and RKR - so I could focus more on the three pedals and the single knee lever. With these, I am able to play some nice chord progressions, and some ...

Hey Daniel; What type of Line 6 POD are you using? Isn't the Vox Pathfinder a small 8" open back speaker? Thanks Steve Sorry to hijack the thread. I'm using a Line 6 combo amp - a Flextone II. The heads of their combo amps are pretty much the same thing as the PODs, minus some of the functiona...
