She destroyed the pick-up that I lived in!!!

My 2yr old takes one of my bars and smack's the pick-up on my carter d-10, she did it so fast not even the quick hands of buddy e. could stop her. All I heard was crackling then nothing out of the amp, the c6th side works fine. This is a later model Carter, are all pick-ups interchangable on it with...

Why not relic PSG? I thought I had a thread on this some time ago and it just died out. I think their is a market for them, it is a very very small market but none the less, I also think PSG players strive to keep their guitar looking good, I know I do, I love to polish it and clean it. It is a litt...

Colin this is my take, I had somebody want me to send them my guitar for a test drive! Not a chance! If I would send out my guitar to somebody for a test drive it wi...

Tony I would put new mica on it, if it was a laquer job I would honestly leave it the way it is, the scratches in aged laquer to me are cool, but I never liked them on mica.

David I honestly have no interest in buying a seat that I cant adjust, that is silly.

A keyboard seat is a good idea I thought of those.

I don't know why something like this cant be made, it would seem simple, do steel players weigh alot more than drummers so maybe it is a saftey issue.

I have been thinking about getting an older guitar myself, from the 80's, don't know if I actually will.

I would think the only time the age is important is when you have to list it for sale.

Bill I have simaliar issues...

Why don't steel guitar seats have adjustable hieghts? Not everyone is the same!!!

Get a drum throne, and get a nice one, you will be glad you did, the back rest is an option.

Nylon tuner????

We have been useing nylon tuners for ages now, why? Almost every builder has a quest to make their guitar the most advanced, I think the last few years we seen some big strides, cant we use a metal tuner instead? I understand nylon tuners need to be stiff I would imagine you can acomplish this with ...

Gwenyth, some guys play with their knuckle raised some play with a "claw" I believe what you are talking about is a raised knuckle, after you line your hand up and you curl your hand this would be the end result. It is tough to get use to especially if you have bad habbitts, I do. The rais...

BR What ever you do decide to do I would think you will have to drill out the damaged area and glue in a repair, The pics are tough to make out, I can see the screw hole any chance of having inlay to cover it up (rope inlay)? Maybe a logo?
