He called me last Saturday and we chatted for awhile. He’s still dealing with some health issues but had a good checkup from the VA. He said he has some parts to build but it’s been pretty cold in the garage.

There's a terrific singer named Callie Chappel who plays at the Blase Cafe on Siesta Key. It looks like she'll be there on the 18th. If she has her Whole Band with her, Dave Peirce will be playing. He's a great picker and used to own a steel store in Sarasota. Very nice guy. Tell him I said Hi!

Clem has been in the Minneapolis VA Hospital for several weeks. COVID almost got him but he’s a tough one! There have been a couple setbacks though, but he’s improving. I spoke to him yesterday and he sounds good! He hopes to be home in another week or so. He’s doing some PT to get his strength back...

I asked Alexa to play Some of Shelly's Blues and the version that played was a live recording of the First National Band Redoux. Was that you Pete? Really nice steel break on that song!

I’m surprised to hear this as I’ve ordered several courses from her in the past several months and they all arrived quickly. All purchases were made with PayPal though. They notify the seller when money is received. I wonder if that could be the issue.

The first record I bought with pedal steel on it was the Buffalo Springfield album with Kind Woman on it. Rusty's playing really caught my ear and started the journey.
