Ever heard of...?
Has anyone that lives in Texas, especially Austin, ever heard of a singer named Jill Scott, not the R&B/Jazz Pop star? This Jill Scott sang Americana and someone loaned me a tape of her a few years ago. There was a great song on the tape called Tumbleweeds. There used to be some Cd's of hers on ...

Congrats on your new pedal steel, I am sure you will enjoy learning and playing it. Just in case you have not read it somewhere else here on the forum, I will throw in some recommendations for learning materials. First and foremost, get a copy of the Pedal Steel Guitar Book/CD by Winnie Winston, it ...

I would check out the Roland XV 5050 module or the jv-1080 module, both have excellent sounds and should fit your needs.

Yes that's the 3 string, 2 finger, 1 pedal lick, It's in the song Hotfoot by Weldon Myrick. I would love to see it on video and a discussion on how to use it or parts of it in songs.

Seat Position
I can't believe what a difference it make moving my seat position about 6 inches to right, I had been having problems with activating the left knee levers when pivoting my ankle over the a & b pedals, now with my new seat position I can pivot back & forth and no problem with the knees, I had...

Boss GS-10
Hello, I was wondering if anyone here is using a Boss GS-10 effects module with their pedal steel, and if so do you have any good patches you would care to share. It's a great unit in the Boss tradition, but a lot of the presets are geared towards distorted rock, not a bad thing but I would love to ...
