I bought my 120 in August and it got bad scratchy all of a sudden. I took off the bottom panel, and poped the back off the pot, sprayed it with contact cleaner and it works perfect. I'd also like to thank John for telling Nick, and Nick for posting so I could see the remedy. ------------------ David...

Tony, I agree with you for the most part, you say a lot of what I wish I had said. POCO made me play music the way I play music. I want to add a tid bit or 2 to what you said. The DVD POCO did, here in Nashville, had RF on it. He's a long way from Buffalo Springfield to being a preacher these days, ...

I was also impressed as well as, influenced by POCO. I saw them every time they came to Nashville, they opened for YES, and later Jim Croce opened for them. I wnet to Huntsville to see POCO open for the Eagles. I tried to play an old Fender 400 like Rusty, but I was more show than play. When I start...

I tried a 22w on my GFI SD10, and I got the pedal to raise to A, but I couldn't get the changer to lower to an F#. The rod was too tight, and the tuning was really touchy. Went back to the 22p til I get some more knowledge. It's like it needs a longer bellcrank. ------------------ David.C. Wright GF...

Alan, You can get a tape from Bobbe Seymore about the basic maintenence on PSG. You only need to know if you have an all pull, or a push pull. I got it and it helped me understand the mechanics on my steel. He also has tuners, i couldn't do it without one. Call Bobbe at 615 822 5555 ----------------...

Donna, I have grandsons so I guess I could babysit, but in my case, maybe Austin and Jonathan could show me some stuff on the steel. If they're like my boys, they have a lot to teach us. You know, our grandchildren are the smartest kids in the world. Hope to get out to California soon and meet the &...

Hey Bill, I was where you are in August. I looked and since I was so green, I didn't know what to buy. I called a friend of mine that plays the Opry, and he recomended GFI. I went to see Bobbe Seymore at Steel Guitar Nashville, and he explained stuff to me. Instead of going with the student model, I...

Well, since you asked. When I was learning to play guitar, there were some guys I like to try to fasion my style after. Glen Campbell, Eric Clapton, Leslie West, Mark Farner, Don Rich... etc. I wanted to be versatile, and I appreciated they feel, tone and general savy they used to perform. As with t...

I'm a new steeler, so naturaly I now hear the steel more in the music I listen to. Just wondering who played on Connie Smith's sessions? I really like the tone, style...etc.

Bob, I'm not necessarily a closet picker, as I've only been playing 4 months. I took up the PSG cause It's something I've always wanted to do. I played guitar all my life, but I wanted something more out of a different instrument. Needless to say, I got it. I would love to play in a band, but I have...
