Thanks very much for your input, I cut off/stripped some insulation off of the ends of the Blue, and Brown wires, and I can now get a reading between the 2 wires.

thanks for all your help!

Output Transformer

Hello, I had a question regarding a Fender Output Transformer: Codes 022889 and 606930, Im not sure if that would be 30th week of 1969 or 1979? I measure resistance in the primary from the Center Tap Red, to blue, which measured 35 ohms, and Center tap Red, to Bronws which also measured 35 ohms, how...

Thanks for the replys, Im going to replace the plate load resistors, starting at V1, if the noise goes away, I will stop replacing resistors. I will continue in this fashion right through the PI if I have to.

I will report back as to weather or not it was the plate load resistors.

lap steel tab paper

Does anyone have a graphic that I could print out of a horizontal 6 string lapsteel, that just shows the strings fretts and frett markers?

Im learning some new chord inversions and would like to pen them in on the paper.

thanks very much,

I did some google searches to find ...

Lapsteel Fretboard

Hello Everyone, I have a custom lapsteel, and need a new fretboard and am looking for recomendations. The reason why I need a new fretboard is that the existing fretboard is made of Birdseye maple, and it reflects too much light to the point of sometimes not being able to see the strings, this can h...
