George Strait performance on CMA Awards

Did anyone else notice George's voice was sounding really strange when he performed Give it Away on The CMA Award show the other night?

How to setup pull rod timing on Sho Bud?

I recently disassembled my Sho Bud LDG to clean and lubricate. I removed all the pull rods from the changer fingers. I have reassembled and have adjusted all the raises and lowers on my pedals and knee levers. My question concerns timing. I'm not sure how to determine if I've set the timing properly...

I'm referring to the threaded pull rod that the nylon tuners fasten to at the end of the guitar. Is it coarse or fine thread? I want to order a nut that will fit this size thread. I don't know what diameter my pull rods are. Somewhere I read that the threads are 4-40 or 5-40 in size???

Try one of the larger fabric stores in your area. They have lots of colors and different types of material to choose from.

Chris Malpass saves country music...

Country singer Chris Malpass, currently touring with steel guitarist Don Helms, may be just the kind of effort that saves country music from complete pop oblivion. I've seen this young man perform three times with Don Helms at the ISGC in St. Louis in 2005 and 2006 on the main stage, and just last w...

Yes,the Sho Bud LDG is the first SD10 with a pad, and the fact is has the Lloyd Green history adds to it as well. It's physical characteristics are very pleasing...Gumby head, tear drop knee levers, rope inlay, polished aluminum everywhere, oh and lets not forget that unique tone. Besides that recog...

St.Louis Sat. NiteHootenanny with Scott Icenogle

I had a great time Saturday night in St. Louis after hours. A great singer and stand-up bass player(Scott Icenogle I believe?)and a few guitar players(names I don't know)did an impromptu sing along and request show in the lower lobby bar. We did "There Stands the Glass", "Miller's Cav...

Thanks for the kind words Bill. I found a nice LDG at Steel Guitar Nashville. Bobbe Seymour now owns my Emmons. Thanks to all who showed interest. I traded the Nashville 1000 for a 112 as well, sure is nice lifting that lighter weight amp!
