WTB: MSA 12string pickup/changer tray

Looking for a pickup tray for a 12 string MSA classic. I don't need the mounting brackets for the changer, just the tray that it sits on....

Thanks in advance!

If it's a 3x3, then it's most likely a Sierra Artist model. I owned a 3x4 Artist several years ago. These pale in comparison to their Session, Crown and Olympic models, BUT, if you invest in some different bellcranks (the Artist's cranks have fixed positions on the cross-shafts), then the Artist bec...

I have a couple of the National style ones in my bag, but for the past several years I've used the Propicks metal thumbs..... I like them a lot, and have given some away to fellow steelers around here, with positive feedback. Even when playing tele, I now find it hard to go back to plastic.

I agree Pete. This is probably as close as one can get to Cage's old axe without the help of Larry Hilt. It's been close to ten years, two guitars, and nothing seems to pass Buddy's litmus test....

Just thought I'd drop a line and say that this is one heck of a steel [steal]..... I sold my S-10 Lamar to a mutual friend of this guitar's original owner. If I didn't play 12's, I'd never have sold mine, and/or would pick this one up in a heartbeat. Lamar Colvin builds some of the best ones around!...

Thanks for the posting, Chris. I'm saddened to hear of Jess' passing. I am the proud owner of an Oliver 35W head which I rescued from being thrown out (along w/ a trapezoidal 15" jensen cab). When I first scored the amp, I was put in touch with Mr. Oliver via the service sticker on the back of ...

Billy, I get in the same rut every now and then with my current "bag of tricks" and one exercise I find helpful: pick a comfortable lick and figure out how to do it both "across" the neck and "up and down" the neck. I'll second Jim's nod to Christopher's itinerary. Ther...

Bill, Just want to chime in~ my only memorable "steel guitar" experience concerning the "one horse towns" which surround Pittsfield, pertains to a speeding ticket which I received on rte. 8 South in Hinsdale as I was in route between pow-wows with fellow fourmite/steelers Doug B....

Jerry, First off, I owe you many thanks considering that I'm currently using a fair amount of the copedant you posted on the Ext E9 thread (Ive reverted back to using my LKR to raise strings 2&9 C#>D). The fact that I put it on a '76 MSA Classic, makes me further indebted to helping you on this....

Thanks for chiming in Al!

I try to refrain from making comparisons, but Al took the words right out of my mouth. This steel has a lot of the same tonal characteristics of a SKH LeGrande, especially in the upper register. If it had a couple of extra strings this Lamar would be my soulmate for life....
