The guy is outstanding, I wasn't putting him down at all. It was just an observance and a question. I would like to see him use the pedals and levers, it would be interesting.

I've watched a number of his videos and it appears to me that he just plays slide guitar on the pedal steel. I really saw a little or any use of the pedals in his playing. Can someone set me straight on this?

I saw Commander Cody and the New Riders of the Purple Sage last night in Teaneck, New Jersey. They played at a place called the Mexicali Blues Cafe. Both of the bands sounded great.
