Jon Light wrote... Were there tuners on older guitars that were made from some sort of plastic that changed, hardened, stiffened, lost some sort of physical properties after a lot of years? Jon Light, I've been wondering the same thing lately, as just the other day I had a very stiff nylon tuner tha...

Strobostomp HD: Super low price?
https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/4309_Peterson_Strobostomp_HD_on_sale_1.jpg I just spotted this out on the internet. Never heard of this--Ludcot.com--they say they are an international fashion company servicing over 40 countries--looks like a lot of lady fashions, which makes this dea...

I had a sudden urge today to try and correct the available Magnatone poster/ad from Magnatone.com. I was able to extract the right side of the distorted Magnatone photo given here, and combine it to the Magnatone.com photo. Had to resize, color balance, use bits and peices, cut and splice, etc.--I e...

John, I'm wondering when you are in PETERSON CONNECT, and creating a CUSTOM PRESET--and wanting to create different F# values--do you assign some sort of code to identify each different F# value? For example, I'd think an easy one would be, say-- P3 or PC --standing for pedal 3, the E to F#?--and so...

Upload pictures?
I've never had trouble uploading pictures, till now. When I try to upload a picture, it says:
General Error
Image could not be uploaded
Debug Mode
I don't know if this is related to all the Virus Alerts I've getting lately, or not.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Virus Alerts!!!!
I've been getting various virus alerts, mostly from Google Chrome and McAfee. I have Google Chrome, but I don't have McAfee. How does McAfee know the state of my computer, when I don't even subscribe to it? Anyway, I've been checking my Windows Defender, and it says everything is fine. I went out on...

Wonderful! Just wonderful! Every steel player, no matter what degree of talent should listen to this. I remember very well the Ranch Party and Town Party shows when I was a kid, and most of all, I remember Marian Hall. I thought it was so neat and cool that a woman was playing steel! Marian sounds l...

"Genuine" vs. "Remanufactured" ink cartridges?
My HP9015 printer's ink cartridges are starting to run out of ink--bought the printer new last January. Just wondering if anyone has experience with the remanufactured ink cartridges. On my old printer, I did try LD remanufactured ink cartridges and had some trouble with the printer not "readin...

Yes, Jon, I remember a while back someone posted the problem with extended poles with a picture--I saved that for my pickup file. So, whether I get comments from Derby owners who may have installed the LXR-16, or not, I'm still going to contact the Bill Lawrence people and get the exact dimensions o...

Guys, thanks for posting. Whether it's good or bad, I found that the recessed pickup routing in my aluminum necks were cut-out to exactly fit George L's. I changed the original E-66 pickups to the SS-10 and 10-1, and found that they were the same size as the E-66 pickups. So, all 3 models were the s...
