Some bass amps in the past have been very good steel amps and your find is interesting. I’ve been wanting to try something different, affordable, and compact so this may fit the bill. Thanks for the info, Dennis!

Is 20K ohms a 605 ?

No…it’s a 705.

705 reads 18K to 21K dc ohms
605 reads 15K to 16K dc ohms
805 reads 26K to 28K dc ohms

Anyone who works with wood can appreciate the beautiful work with added innovation. The alternating inlay on the neck and apron was a great touch. But this is the first I’ve seen a contoured neck. Absolutely stunning work of art!

Jay, that is the Zoom pedal I’ve been using for years and couldn’t be happier. There’s a learning curve and it’s somewhat more challenging to navigate than many previous units. But the effects and versatility in such a small pedal is of superb quality!

Wax the windings and re-install the pickup should resolve your issue. I’ve done several in years past with great results.

I believe John & Bud incorporated this design as standard in 1998 and the year model can be ascertained by the 2nd & 5th numbers of the S/N.

I’m sure some others can chime in…but I’m a fan of Stewart PA series power amps. You can still find them on eBay and reverb. Compact, lightweight, clean tone, and inexpensive! I’m still using them with my equipment.

The session 400 is likely loaded with a 4 ohm speaker as is the NV1000. You can only have a 4 ohm total load so you can’t run both of those speakers. Only if you have 8 ohm speakers in both amps. Running both 4 ohm speakers will result in damaging your session 400.
