Pitching higher when using headphones for monito
I tend to pitch higher when I use headphones for monitoring. Some notes are on the edge of being out of tune. I have no problems when I listen to the direct sound from the speaker. Does anybody else have to cope with such problems, or am I just wierd? I’m not pleased with this. Any advice?

I’m watching the DVD ”On The Night” with Dire Straits on my computer right now. A fantastic concert! – Even better , I was there - “On The Night” – 13 years ago, 20 meters in front of the stage. Mark Knopfler right in front of me, Paul Franklin to the left on a podium. Right now I’m back in the crow...

Denny – I sure would like to hear whatever critique you may have – I could only benefit from that, should I ever get the idea of building another guitar. Although it can only be on concept and layout as I’m not gonna send this piece of wood to Hawaii for a hands on test http://steelguitarforum.com/s...

Thank you everybody for all the nice comments. I built this guitar because I could use a second lap guitar for experiments with different tunings, and I just thought I would share it with you. I am really honoured by the fact that someone would want to purchase my guitar. I never thought of this as ...

New lapsteel - just finished - pics
I finished this homemade lapsteel a couple of weeks ago. The dark wood is bubinga and the bright wood is mable. The body is hollow. 22 1/4 inch scale. The PU is a gift from my good friend Henning Kock. It has a warm and jazzy sound with a fine sustain. At the moment it’s tuned Leavitt. http://jbl-da...

Tabs for Leavitt tuning
Hi
Before ordering Leavitt material, I would like to try out the tuning. All links for Leavitt tuning tabs I have tried turns out to be dead.
Can someone help with tabs that show the potentials of this tuning?
Thanks in advance
Bruno
