Bobbe Seymour, customer's man!

I had an occasion to order a couple of Bobbe’s instructional videotapes off the website. Tapes came and I watched – On one of the tapes, a couple of sync glitches popped up where the video lost sync for a second. I don’t know what happened, Could have been from an invasive package scanner or somethi...

whereabouts of Mickey

Does anyone know of the whereabouts of one Mickey Wells - superb E9th player. Used to play for Larry Dean. Last I heard he was having difficulties with arthritis. I searched the forums for his name – without success.
Tnx in advance

I whipped around to see, prominently presented to stage right, was an REAL PSG being played by someone in a black lea...

It's not so much the total power available, but the ability to kick it out on that very sharp peak and follow the input faithfully. 1 kw - 2 kw, will rarely EVER be used; but it'...

I do professional recording and in studio, where the environment is more easily controlled, I will use AKG 414 and 3000 condenser mikes, with screens between them and the artist. Record the vocal in stereo, mid /side and overlay that on the main tracks. For a live situation, I setup two AKG 3000's a...

Not without some type of timecode mechanism common to all units. Even DAT's w/o TC are a problem to sync. If each and every unit had the EXACT same crystal clock, then it would be a simple matter of dropping all the tracks from the mini's onto a multi-track machine and then sliding them back and for...

If you'll use Bob's search engine: Search for "Ed Packard" in one or two of the sections, you will find a message there authored by Ed. Then you can click on that little envelope up above the text window and that will show you his email address. The last one I have for him is "edpacak...

There is a Crazy Horse Saloon in the Irvine Spectrum, recently moved from close to the 55 & Dyer. They do lots of country. And yes, the Swallows Inn in San Cap. There is also a place in the Chatsworth area called The Cowboy Palace that does country 24/7, and a new place in Calabassas called The...

I'd like to come: I'm learning, not playing yet.
I am also an amateur videographer and recording engineer.
I'd like to bring a semi-pro camera and a few DAT's.
