Wow! A bear watchdog!

For me, I finally found the 'tone' that I like with my U-12 and Nashville 1000. It took many years to find, but the right hand is key also. It's funny how 'tone' changes with the ever so slightest change regarding where you pluck the strings...

And to think I just sent you an email Michael two minutes before I found this thread...

Hey Ted, I have an SX, and I like it, a lot! I also built my own lap steel and had fun doing it. My SX is C6 tuning and my DIY steel which you can see at https://youtu.be/_4wT47G_hi0 is Open D tuning. I'm sure you'll figure it all out with the great guys on this forum!

The 2134 Burr Brown chips are still sold by Jameson, Mouser and Digi Key. You can also find them on Ebay and Amazon.
