I use mine strictly through the Non drive channel, augmented with a Fender SFX Satellite slave amp (90W/12”). My “B3/Leslie” effect sounds huge, even the straight steel stuff.

This is the Rusty Young that I remember

Here’s our hero at his best….. “B3” w/Leslie on E9 then ferocious slide solo on C6. Even the infamous baring with the folding chair (try that with a pack a seat!), everything but the lighter fluid! All of his showmanship and musicianship Plus the band with their stellar vocals. Where’s my Time Machi...

Amen Larry..... brought back so many memories of touring with Hallelujah! In the early 70’s. We have that great Hope and we will get together one more time. Thanks Dom, so good to hear your voice and pedal steel some more.

Hey Dom, another great one. I love the double-tracked pedal steel….. very Bethlehem, and you’ve always got a bit of the Sneeky Pete vibe. Great song writing and production…. and a great story. Thanks

My recommendation for “organ” is the B9. For “Leslie” it’s the Neo Ventilator II (allows for a remote half moon switch so you can easily ramp the speed up or down).

See my thoughts on psg as B3/Leslie here:

No suggestions for a “piano” FX, but I use a B9 and get killer B3 sounds. Constantly getting compliments on how much it sounds like an organ. However, the B9 is just one element in getting to sound like the real deal. I also use a modified wah pedal after the B9 to emulate the draw bars. You must re...

Dom, this is so good! A truly “up” song in every way. This is my favorite song in recent times. Great country-rock feel with such nice flat picking and dobro. Carry on, brother.

Steve, this is so great….. thanks. What a treat to hear from these three giants of pedal steel. If Rusty had still been with us, I can picture him there as well. Quite the acknowledgment of Poco’s influence on the “Western Edge”. Must have been satisfying for Richie to see.

I use a Rumble 200 with the TC Electronics Hall of Fame 2 reverb. This one is the single 15” and they make a 500 watt with 2 tens.

I always loved this song of Rick's from his 1974 album "Windfall". Sure wish that he and Tom were still with us.
