I really like James Burton's dobro playing on Merle Haggard's stuff. Check out "Same Train, Different Time", the tribute album to Jimmie Rodgers. It's not flashy, but everything is super in tune, funky and just feels great.

I agree that shouldn't change things. But I can't think of anything else that could have affected this. I'll think a bit more about it.

pedal adjustment question

Hi all, I recently lowered the height of my ABC pedals and my steel feels a lot more comfortable. But after tweaking this, my 1st and 6th strings aren't *quite* in sync anymore. When I press the A pedal down, for the very first part of the throw only the 1st string bends. As I keep pressing, I can f...

I read somewhere they used to do a regular radio show together. Is this true? And if so, does anybody know if there are any recordings?

Hello all, I'm selling a 2017 GFI Expo S10 for $1950 + shipping. It has 3 pedals, 4 knee levels and is set up in Buddy Emmons' good old E9th copedant. It is in "like new" condition, in perfect mechanical shape and sounds great. A hardshell case is included. There are a couple of small nick...
