I picked up a 1980 silverface twin back in April. It came with two JBL E-120 speaker with the orange baskets. I recently put into a head cabinet because when it was the combo form, it felt like it was glued to the floor. I think the JBLs it was well over 100 lbs. It’s a really great sounding amp. Th...

Pickup selection on 1975 Shobud The Pro-III

When I have just the E9 or just the C6 neck selected, it quite a thick sound. When I select both necks, I get a sound that is considerably thinner and spankier. Is there s...

My BMI came with a pick and bar holder included. Works great. Fits and matches the guitar nicely too. :D I also like those pick and bar holders made of a Nutella snack pack container with a clip attached. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/4734_20201211_213446_1.jpg I play a D10 and it ...

I hope you are still giggling daily.Abe Levy wrote:When giggling was possible I gigged mine all the time. I have two and neither has been any more susceptible to tuning issues than my cut tails. I’m in LA though where we don’t have huge differences between indoors and out. I have 1066D by the way. Close!

Coleman Fuel For Cleaning Changer?
I am planning to take down my MSA Classic's changers and clean and lube them (with dry teflon lube). Is Coleman Fuel an appropriate solvent to clean the fingers and axle?
Thanks for your help!

Here is my MSA Classic D10. I'd like to find out what year it's from. The serial number is 2C301. It has SuperSustain pickups, patent-pending Grover tuners, and a Bud Carter signature underneath if that helps. Can anyone help me out? https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/17219_123561379_365...

That is an original MSA factory pedal that was usually supplied in the case in its own segmented holder within the original case.. Should have a pin on a small chain that fits into the volume pedal bracket on the pedal rack, and has 2 fingertip adjustment screws,, I used one on an MSA Classic for d...

New (to me) Steel!! MSA Classic D10
I picked this lovely guitar up off of a friend of mine the other day. The SuperSustain pickups sound great! Rack and Barrel Sho~Bud questions
Can you get the E>F and the E>F# raise on an old rack and barrel Sho~Bud Professional? Am I mistaken thinking that the R&B Professionals only have one raise per string?
