My 70's MSA Classic has the holes through the legs and wingnuts fasten it all together. Not the best/easiest to set up! I much prefer the sliding plate action on my old Fender 1000. Though, you really need to crank the plate down to keep it on there.

That is an original MSA factory pedal that was usually supplied in the case in its own segmented holder within the original case.. Can you get the E>F and the E>F# raise on an old rack and barrel Sho~Bud Professional? Am I mistaken thinking that the R&B Professionals only have one raise per string?
