ShoBud undercarriage question

Post by Andy Beisel »

Why is the underside of some ShoBud guitars a greenish colour while some are natural wood? Thank you.

The greenish color was from the first year the LDG models were produced. According to Ricky Davis who knows pretty much all Sho-Bud info, they did all the guitars that way. I think that might have been the only year. Like I said Ricky knows for sure and might chime in here when he sees this.

Yes like Craig said.
When the LDG first came May '73....Sho~bud put some of the emerald green tint in the white texture they put on the bottom cab of all Sho~bud models being built at that time...then a year later; they basically when back to white texture then No texture; natural.
