After reading my post again I realized that I might have implied that Mike is not one of the finer players today. Not so. Definitely one of the best. Kudos Mike!

Hey Jeff, I have had other black push-pulls but in 1994 that would have been this guitar. At the time I was playing through a Session 500. Those amps had lots of robust low end. Another great record (I still call them records) from Joe! Joe's knack for picking interesting material is still evident here and his touch and tone are unmistakable. He has a unique voice in the world of steel guitar. Great playing, production and a snappy dresser to boot. Kudos to you Joe.

Thanks for the replies. The front plate says, "DC Custom Houston, TX." I know the photo is a bit dark. I thought it looked like a knock off of a Sho-Bud as well. The airplane fret markers were what caught my eye. Have never seen that.
