Howdy folks,
If anyone doesn't get their fill of steel guitar music up in Dallas this weekend there is the regular Monday night session at Sam's Town Point in beautiful South Austin, TX. This coming Monday (3/11) we will be welcoming our SXSW conventioneers to Super Steel Monday featuring Geoff Queen at 7PM and yours truly at 9PM. Would love to see you all out there to support the steel guitar and this funky, cool venue.

I've had the pleasure of doing Steel Monday a couple of times (when REAL players weren't available 
), and it's a lot of fun for the players and the audience. I'd encourage anyone in the Austin area that hasn't checked it out to do so.
Geoff and Marty are both great players, and kudos to Rose Sinclair for starting and driving this weekly event. It's a great hang, lots of local players tend to drop by (not just steel players) and Sam's Town Point is a cool venue. Highly recommended...
