I've been practicing pick blocking from an article by Greg Cutshaw and I came to something I don't understand. He mentioned blocking with the bar. He said to pick with the middle finger and pull the bar towards the player. All I get is a lot of bar noise. Can you explain the technique.

I bought a new to me old Peavy Nashville 400 amp. It's great amp I just want to know how old it is. The serial No. starts with OA o478.... If that is any help.

Peavy and fender have bass combo amps that are 3 to 4 hundred watts and have a 15'
speakers have any of you tried them for steel.

What is the name of the Dallas show. The show was on the 10 th did any here any more about that Peavy 115 amp.

Hi,I been playing for about 6 mts now. I have learned a few songs but progress is slow. I am having trouble un derstanding where I am going up and down the neck or playing horizontally. I find help on the vertical scales but not on the horizontal. Is there any on the forum. Thanks a head of time. Mike

I'm getting a new stage one steel guitar and I am having a hard time finding what amp. to use. The Nashville 112 and the fender steel Kind are out of production. any ideas. I am a beginner.
