What you are looking at is a Lollar string-through pickup.
It requires very little modification to the guitar and the tone is amazing.

I use a 20 degree thumbpick made by Zookies.
It helped remove all of that scraping sound on the string and they are comfortable.
They come in 10, 20 and 30 degree angles.

My gosh those are beautiful.
I've decided I need one and I need it yesterday.

Can anyone tell me what the approximate amount for shipping and import taxes might be?
Asking for a friend....

Mine, from the pickup to the tail is filled with what
looks and feels like bakelite. It's black and very hard.
I had to remove some of it to pull out the tone control for repair.
From the pickup forward it is stuffed with newspaper.

I have that exact guitar sitting in it's stand behind me right now.
Mine is a 1947 model.
I do not know the value but I paid $250 for mine about 5 years ago in very good condition.
Yours appears to be missing the attached jack and cord.
Great sounding guitar.....love the tone they put out.

Wow.......that is a purple guitar. I like it. Unusual color, unusual design and very distinctive. I bet it sounds great. You will enjoy the heck out of it. Chris made a baritone guitar for me last year. He is one of the nicest guys I have ever dealt with. Lots of emails going back and forth to make ...

I have had a Lehle Mono 90 for about a year now.
This is the model with the jacks on the side.
It is very smooth, doesn't color the tone at all.
Best pedal I have owned.
And no darn string to break.

Hi Fred,

Thanks for that bit of info.
At least it wasn't my imagination.
I went over to my wife's computer and brought up that page
and that list popped right up.
She d/loaded it and emailed it to me.

Thank you.

My advice is worth about 7 cents, before taxes. I have never been able to use a lap steel while on legs or in my lap. The legs would either wobble a bit or they would get in the way as they were too close together. My lap was worse. I's start tapping my feet or adjusting my posture and off it would ...
