Two out of thousands? That's a great track record. Even if it's two of the hundreds he will build and sell this year alone that's commendable. Remember, this is a brand new model, bound to have some birthing issues. Until you've owned one you have no right to comment.

I have a Superb that had that issue and I seem to recall that it was solved by experimenting with the starting point of the tuning block in relation to the nut. The farther away, or down in your case, from the nut I attached the string and then tuned, the better. That way the windings from the ball ...

Adding two knees to a S10 3/2 guitar so need any parts you can part with. Cross shafts, knee paddles, bell cranks, reversers, bushings. This is for a beginner who is stepping up from a Sidekick to a Classic. Any part I can buy of the forum is one part less I have to make.

Carlin, I think you may be confusing Mica with clearcoat. Mica in the steel world is usually "Formica" (laminated composite material ). I don't see any Formica on this guitar.

Two questions. Is that pic of the crack the before or after? If before, what is the after? Also, what does the cab drop measure now?
