"Fretboard"

Post by Mark Dershaw »

Hey all, I'm in need of a new "fretboard" for a Carter project I'm working on. I don't think I'd be able to obtain a new Carter board so I'm interested in where I can get one of any brand. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!!

What scale length would you like? What's your budget?

The length of the one that came off is 18.5" This is just an appliqué so I'm thinking they should run around 30.00?

18.5" ???

Edit:... must be the length of the fretboard only. You'll need to know and provide the scale length...from nut to bridge, so the fretboard is accurately marked.

If it's a 12 string guitar I have a brand new color carter fretboard. If it is a 10 string the one i have would be a litte wide. you would end up having to cut off the white side marker lines.
thanks

Billy Phelps has a bunch of the Carter 10 string black/white FB's for sale.

I have two Carter colored 12 strings FB's I'd part with.
