speaker hook up.

I have a Nashville Amp. I also have a Peavey speaker in a cabinet about the same size as my amp. My question is, can I just go from the line out in my amp to the extra speaker?

I have SD 10 Expo. It is very light. I'm always amazed at the sustain this guitar has.

Lube

I have a GFI Expo SD10. I have had it for 11 years, gigged a few times. I have never put lubricant on the legs and it still works fine.

Gfi

I can't say enough about Bob at GFI. He has helped over the phone several times. Last year I took my EXPO to him because I was having some problems with the changer. He took it apart right then and had it fixed in less then an hour. I asked how much I owed him. he said nothing. The steel has a lifet...

Personally, I refuse to play outdoors anymore. Not only do I have trouble keeping my steel in tune while out doors, but it's also hard on the instrument.

I can play in cowboy boots, dress shoes, tennis shoes if they have a flat sole. I tried sock feet, but my feet are so sensitive that I can't do it. I say whatever feels best to you. However, I wouldn't and don't play with sock feet.

That statement couldn't be further from the truth. Playing the pedal steel is a lot more complicated than that. In the first place it's not just "sliding the bar around on the strings." And yes, there are chords, many of them. You have to used both hands, both feet, both knees.

I have been using S.I.T. Buddy Emmons series for several years and have never broken an 11 ga. string. I start winding on one side of the capstan, then cross over to the other side and finish winding. It works well for me.

I'm 74 and I practice every day, because my memory is not as good as it once was. I play very few shows anymore, but I like to keep in shape just in case. Besides, I love learning new tunes, new licks, etc.

With this virus going on, I play at home about an hour every day. I don't even have any gigs lined up for the near future, but that's ok, since I don't depend on that for a living. I do miss playing for an audience though.
