speaker hook up.

I have a Nashville Amp. I also have a Peavey speaker in a cabinet about the same size as my amp. My question is, can I just go from the line out in my amp to the extra speaker?

No. That line out is for going into a PA or a power amp and then your speaker. It is not a powered output.
