Wow, I cant believe this thread still lives ! Thank you all for commenting. A couple of fellows that need mentioning are the late Gary'Spike'Spicer of Family Brown fame, and Pat Thompson who is from my home town. And countless others who have come in to it in the last 20 years. God bless you all !

My dear friend Rusty Walker, a true legend of pedal steel passed away Sat. June 13th. Rusty was an amazing player, and more important an amazing person . Thanks John and Jack. Jack I purchased a X Fi Extreme Music card at a local retailer but I canot get it to do anything in midi BIAB wont recognize it nor will Sonar. Alan, I had an MD8 for quite a long time. Disk error can be from a couple of problems.The first thing you should do is remove the disk and carefully clean it.Use a damp cloth on the metal, and try to blow out the disk itself.The other problem could be the drive bay itself.
