We have all been touched by Jeff's passing. I was fortunate enough to attend several of his seminars when he came to Lakeland years ago. His wit and sense of humor was unlike anything I had been exposed to. On one of these seminars Jeff was explaining what to do if you made a mistake while playing a...

James, Sounds like you will have to replace the entire slider control. After re-reading my post I missed a few more small things to remove, but you'll see them as you go. If you can still control the volume the board is OK. I had the same problem of protecting my 1200D so wound up buying an exercise...

James, I replaced one in mine recently. I can truthfully tell you it was a pain even though I've done lots of electronic repairs in the past. The two (right & left) side bars have to come off, every control knob (there's 130 of them plus 16 input slider knobs) has to be removed, along with the 1...

Ray, Try a jumper wire from the reverb tank to chassis of the NV 400 (Don't worry, you won't get shocked). If hum goes away you probably have a broken printed board connection or a bad solder connection to the reverb connector on the board. Let us know. Tom

Bobby, I use mine after the volume pedal into a NV 1000 amp. It's very important to turn off any other effects (delays, reverb, etc.) while using the Super-Bro in order to get a good dobro sound. I use the dobro bar and for fun I purchased a 3/4" diameter dowel rod and made it the length of my ...

Lay a quarter (25-cent piece) on the pick-up and adjust each end of pick-up where the strings just clear the quarter. Works for me!

Jim, when you switch on the Super-Bro be sure you turn off any delay or reverb on your amp. Mine also works best at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. If you want to experiment, try using a piece of dowel rod or cut the end off of a broom stick for the bar...just for fun. You will get a different sound! Tom
