I use a crate v50-112 amp with 12au7 pre-amp tubes and 6l6gc power tubes, I'm happy with the tone, but any ideas for tone improvement? THank you for your time. JimC.

Lane, I used a cheapie EQ for my set up, but it didn't sound good, muddy to brittle, but this is coming from someone with 14 mos experience with the PSG.

I purchased a Goodrich L120 last week, I was using a Morley optical, not having any idea, I just had my lesson in "tone-suck." What a difference! I am using a Crate V112 50 watt amp with 12aU7 pre-amp tubes, sounds good to my ears.

Peter Banks of Yes passed away in London on March 7 due to heart failure. Most people find Steve Howe to be the better guitarist, but Mr. Banks had his own unique style. You will be missed.
