Nashville 400 for sale on Goodwill auction site in Nashville

*I'm not selling it, I just found the listing and passing it on*

I don't have a dog in this race but if someone is local to the Nashville area and wants a good deal on a Nashville 400 this one looks to be a good one. Looks like its loaded with a K130.

One day I'm going to get my hands on Tim's 85 watt monster. I've been playing through the Mini since 2013. Crazy its been almost 10 years. I've also got a half and half but the Mini is still my favorite amp I've ever played through.

WTB or Trade Telonics Neo for Altec

Curious if anyone has a 12" Telonics Neo 4 ohm they'd be interested in parting with or trading for an Altec Lansing 417-8H with the original cone.

That thing is definitely going to end up going to a good home. Thank goodness you're not nearby or I'd have a hard time not driving over to try it out and probably leave with it.

My favorite thing about my Milkman amps, besides the tone and craftsmanship, is that 8 years after purchasing my Mini Tim still answers any random questions I have within minutes on Facebook. Try getting Fender to do that.

Dod EQ FX 40B

A pedal I inherited from a good friend of mine that I just never really used. Always thought it sounded better than the Boss EQ.

$60 plus shipping.

Hardwire RV-7 Pedal

I've had this pedal for a few years now and I just don't use it anymore since getting my Milkman half and half. It's got some road wear on it but it still works perfectly. $150 plus shipping. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/10552_IMG_7009_1.jpg https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2...

I feel like I read something a while back about people changing the volume pot to allow a more even sweep from 1-10. That basically the amp, when stock, goes from nothing to full blast from 1-2 whereas after the new pot is installed it allows for a gradual volume increase without having to change ou...

Speaker Reconing

Does anyone have a line on any good speaker reconing companies? I've got a vintage alnico EV SRO 12 (the coffee can one) that I'd love to have reconed but my go to people, Orange County Speaker, don't exist anymore. I've tried getting in touch with the people on ebay about just buying the recone kit...

Which connectors do these come with? The little two pin connectors that go into each ear plug or the single round one? Sorry, my brain isn't working today and I can't seem to find the exact name for the single round connector.

Mesa Boogie Studio Pro

I realize this is more suited for rock guitar players than the steel community but I figured I would give the forum members a shot at this before I post it to those other places. Comes with both the manual and foot switch. *NOTE* As the reverb tank in these things is notorious for coming loose durin...

Just out of curiosity, how old is your twin? I'm assuming you keep it up to date on service and all. Have you tried changing out the V2 preamp tube just to see if that makes any difference?

I've never really found a good sound doing the dime trick for fiddle on any of my amps, but I've heard a few guitar players use that to dial in their fender amps.

Yep, three nights a week. Depends on the room and all, and I usually run it through a single 12 in an open back cabinet, but I usually like to have mine set with the treble around 4, mids around 5, and bass between 6 and 7. Just keep the reverb tone totally off till she finds a setting she likes and...

It would help a lot if you explained which JBL series speaker and size you're looking for, as the D,E,K series were totally different sound wise and produced in different eras, thus making a reliable K series speaker easier to obtain than a pristine or properly reconed D speaker.

120 plus shipping for an old Altec seems about standard, and actually a good deal if the people reconing it are bringing it back to original specs instead of just slapping any random replacement kit in there. I've yet to come across a new speaker that comes close to the Altec and JBL's I play through.
