Thanks to Marc Muller

I wanted to thank Marc Muller, pedal steel player and guitar and lapsteel player and backup vocalist on tour with Shania Twain , for coming up to my seating location at Key Arena in Seattle for a visit. Hi David, I went on a cruise with the Ventures last Spring which was organized by The Vacation Store represented by Julia Meekens-Self who was very helpful in providing all the ticketing and I imagine the separate ship accomodations for the concerts. Nokie played with the Ventures as well. The guita...

Thanks for the reply. That must be a great gig each outing.

I think I'm liking smaller groups these days, its easier to keep in balance and the parts compliment one another.

Does anyone know who the steel session players and concert players are for Lucinda Williams. I'm going to try to catch her at the Filmore in San Francisco.

Thanks

In the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" the lady was told , if the robot (Gort was his name) is going to attack you say the words , "Gort, Klatuu Barada Nicto" . And indeed the robot's laser shield closed back up. Of course Gort carted her off anyway but at least he put his ...

I would go for the Hickok 539C which will cost more but when you resell I'm sure you would at least get your money back. Dont forget to ask if it works right. Also the meter movement needs to work flawlessly so ask about it. It would be tough to replace the meter movement. If you want a new unit you...

If you can ask for preamp specs here is what I would shop for: 1)lowest noise figure/high sensitivity(dB) 2)low distortion even at higher input level(headroom)(% at specified highestinput level) 3)sufficiently wide bandwidth (kHz) 4)high input impedance and low output impedance (100's Kohm in , doze...

I recommend the Mark of the Unicorn MOTU 896 with firewire connection to an iMac computer.

Check out the motu.com site before you decide. This is a 24 bit machine.
