I’m not a guru but…Go for it, do what you want! I have A ‘73 SB and had two knee levers added to give me 3&4 Emmons set up E’s on the left 1&7 raise and 2&9 lower on right.
I’d be very hesitant to alter any of my other 6 strings though.

Above and beyond proficient, reminds me of a Monterey Jazz Festival I went to about 10 years ago, where the best musician there was a TUBA player…just blew me away!

I’ ve got way too much stuff already, but, a pre- CBS Fender 6G15 3 knob tube reverb by itself could be worth twice what you are asking for this amp.

This is what I always used back in the days when I owned a ‘74 Maverick, and what I still use today on my Sho~Bud 6139/40 today.
Cobra Coils or George L’s worked the best for me.
