I’m curious if someone knows which guitar Mr. Green used on “ Sweetheart of the Rodeo” albumn? ‘68/‘69 ? Maybe an early Professional Sho~Bud?

Your tenor is an interesting instrument, I just noticed recentlyBR was building them, I saw them on Musiciansfriend. I have too many instruments now, it’s becoming a “space” problem and also my CFO says no!
Good luck with your sale.

I ‘d like to give a big thumbs up for Blueridge guitars,Normally I have played Martin guitars since ‘69( I have owned 6, still own 5)and they are a great product! The BR I bought was a copy of a Martin pre-war D-45, needless to say is an amazing guitar, looks and sound ,action low like I like it. Dam...

In my opinion I’d be after the ‘74 LDG, although pricey, it would be my first choice other than a ‘73. I agree with Rickey Davis on the Sho~Bud systems. I think the ‘73 & ‘74 would be the most valuable if you were to ever re sell the guitar. Jim at Steel Guitars of the North county will set it u...

Looks like a ‘73 or ‘74 , first run to me Serial #’s look about right, but I’ve been wrong before Looks like it might have been built in Oct. ‘73 to Jan. ‘74 depending on serial numbers, give or take a few months. The give away is the light green flocking tells me it’s a first run LDG Maybe Ricky co...

I’m not a guru but…Go for it, do what you want! I have A ‘73 SB and had two knee levers added to give me 3&4 Emmons set up E’s on the left 1&7 raise and 2&9 lower on right.
I’d be very hesitant to alter any of my other 6 strings though.

Above and beyond proficient, reminds me of a Monterey Jazz Festival I went to about 10 years ago, where the best musician there was a TUBA player…just blew me away!
I can appreciate the comment about the Phoenix sidewalk

How does it play? Is it smooth or not, stay in tune? I wouldn’t worry too much about cosmetics. Warping of the wood and pitting of chrome might have something to do with humidity. The under carriage looks pretty clean. A change of strings, and fine tuning would help if you are gonna sell imo. I’ve s...

I’ ve got way too much stuff already, but, a pre- CBS Fender 6G15 3 knob tube reverb by itself could be worth twice what you are asking for this amp.
This seems like a good deal to me.

I believe so , he was Jerry’s rhythm guitar player for many years, Sadly Hiram’s no longer with us. I use to see Casey play with Hiram at the “ House without a key”…The Halekulani in Waikiki.
Casey told me Hiram had a SHO~BUD SUPER PRO at home

I had a ‘66 Fender Pro Reverb for several years 40 watts 2x12” Jensens that I mainly used for my 6 strings. Imo probably the best gigging amp ever. I loved the tone…to die for. Very good reverb & tremolo fix. The only negative thing I can think of was it was very heavy. I blew a speaker and had ...

Info from “the New Sho~Bud Pedal Steel Guitar Course dated 1969.
This is what I always used back in the days when I owned a ‘74 Maverick, and what I still use today on my Sho~Bud 6139/40 today.
Cobra Coils or George L’s worked the best for me.
