Storms Never Last

Post by Howard Tate »

It's the first time I tried to record my new (to me) Carter. It's pretty simple playing,a little pitchy in spots, and after playing the U12 for so many years, I'm having problems with my grips. Anyway, it has some accoustic guitar, steel, guitar, and reso on it, if any one cares to listen. It's the first song on the list, click on the link below.

Howard, just super. Everything sounds so "clean". I listen to someone like you playing, and it keeps me going. I don't suppose I'll ever sound as sharp as you do on this, but you give me something to reach for. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed it.

Howard, great job on some really beautiful songs. I echo Joy's remarks about everything sounding so "clean", and I too will probably never sound as sharp as you do on this, but you give me something to reach for.

Thanks for the kind words, folks. I'm liking the Carter, the action is very nice, and tone is right on.

Howard, I didn't think you could beat a couple of the others on your site, but I believe the addition of the reso did it. Super playing by a super gent. Thanks for sharing.
