My Band's CD - Online!

Post by Bobby Lee »

I just noticed that my band's new CD is available for listening online at CD Baby: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/openhearts3

The's a lot of steel on every track, but most steel players will probably enjoy the following:

7. My Baby's Eyes - The steel part was inspired by Lloyd Green.

9. Bad Attitude - I wrote the music for this swing tune. John Reese wrote the words.

10. Early Mornin' Want Yous - A tongue-in-cheek country tune that seems to be a favorite with the ladies.

If you want to buy the CD, it's cheaper from the Forum catalog. Image

The CD Baby files just have the first 2 minutes of each song, but two of the tracks are available in their entirety at the Open Hearts Web Site. I take an extended rock solo at the end of Show Me More

I did "My Baby's Eyes" on the E9th neck of the Williams D-12x, and "Between Me and You" on the Sierra S-8 lap steel (I think). Everything else was the Sierra SD-12 tuned to extended E9th.

I do a lot of pickup-swapping when I play that Sierra, Larry. Maybe that's what you were hearing.
