What condition is the Tascam in? How much use over its lifetime? Any probs with it? Does it record 2 or more tracks at a time? Thanks.

John,

I would consider the board to be in good shape. I was given it two years ago by my Step-Brother who purchased it new and who was using it in his band. His band is now recognizing greater success, so he upgraded to a digital workstation.

I have not found any problems with it. I haven't used it for any intense recording. I used it as a way to mix my steel in with backing tracks.

The manual says that you can record on up to 4 tracks at the same time using the DIRECT position of the RECORD FUNCTION switches. Again, I have not this, but the manual says you can.

For more detailed info, you can find the manual online.

Thanks,

Bill
