I just hear a cool version of Stairway to Heaven done by Hayseed-Dixie. The steel was very tasty. Does anyone know who it is?
Thanks!

Whoops, my bad. It wasn't Hayseed-Dixie. It was "Pickin' on Zeppelin: A Tribute." I think the steeler was Robby Turner.

Hayseed Dixie is pretty wild stuff though. Their dobro player is awesome. |

You can also check out HD's alter-ego, the Kerosene Brothers. Good stuff but not quite so campy. |

From what I've dug up, Robby was on Hayseed Dixie and also the Zeppelin tribute. |

The dobro on the first Hayseed Dixie disc, the bluegrassy covers of A C/DC tunes, is Mike Daly. He's a real fine dobro player as well as steeler. |
