I just hear a cool version of Stairway to Heaven done by Hayseed-Dixie. The steel was very tasty. Does anyone know who it is?

Thanks!

Whoops, my bad. It wasn't Hayseed-Dixie. It was "Pickin' on Zeppelin: A Tribute." I think the steeler was Robby Turner.

Hayseed Dixie is pretty wild stuff though. Their dobro player is awesome.

You can also check out HD's alter-ego, the Kerosene Brothers. Good stuff but not quite so campy.

From what I've dug up, Robby was on Hayseed Dixie and also the Zeppelin tribute.

The dobro on the first Hayseed Dixie disc, the bluegrassy covers of A C/DC tunes, is Mike Daly. He's a real fine dobro player as well as steeler.
