The 41st annual Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree was held in Dallas March 6-9, 2025. Everyone seemed to have a fun weekend listening to really good music. Several new, younger players were on the show which was exciting to all. The TSGA Jamboree celebrated Albert Talley for the 22 years that he has been our President. We also celebrated Debbie Talley for her major contributions and work for the TSGA. They will continue to be a big part of the TSGA. Gene Brown, Vice President of TSGA and the TSGA Board members are still in place.
We are thankful to all who helped make this show a success and we appreciate those who participated in helping to raise money for the Benevolent Fund. This always allows us to assist musicians and their families in time of need.
We recognize those who donated items for sale, for auction and silent auction, along with cash donations. Those donating items were Brenda Sweeten, Boo and Lisa Miller, Katie Symack, Peterson Tuners, Mike Castleberry, Michael Hillman, Donna Dodd, Randy Beavers, Elaine Gondeson, Barbara and Danny Beaver and Charley Marbut. If your name was omitted or misspelled, I apologize.
The high bidder for the Peterson Tuner on silent auction was Michael Peters. The winner of the 50/50 was Mike Sweeney and Brenda Sweeten won the guitar signed by all artists on the main show.
Many thanks to my Benevolent Fund team: Janet Wise, Linda Ferguson, Mary McGee, Danny Beaver and Tara and Michael Wise. Thanks to the three MC's who help us so very much with the auctions they continually do from the stage. Mike Siler, Jeff Williams and Bill Ferguson. Great job guys. Thanks to all for supporting the TSGA Benevolent Fund year after year.
May God Bless us all.

Re: Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree of 2025
Thank you for posting this Barbara. Thanks to all who helped out the Benevolent Fund. Thanks to Albert and Debbie Talley for their years of service to the TSGA. Thank you Barbara and all the ladies involved for all you do. I am proud to be a member of the TSGA a great organization. I enjoyed the music but the fellowship is a major part of the weekend.
