Lap Steel instrumental video. NO ADVERTISMENTS!!! (I promise!)

Post by Rich Arnold »

This song I've know about for a long time and have wanted to play it on the lap steel so I finally got around to working it out. The head is not to difficult, but the bridge goes all over the place.
I'm really digging this old Magnatone I got and I'm thinking maybe they will give me an endorsement!
I have an address for them but no zip code.

BTW,
I'm going to be moving all my videos to Vimeo. Youtube has been using some pretty lewd adds these days. Moreover it's become a game of hide-and-seek. Nobody is going to just stumble onto any of my videos by accident there. And to boot, the sound quality is better by far on Vimeo

Hey Rich, the Vimeo URLs get mangled when you copy and paste them, here's the corrected address for your post: https://vimeo.com/1068513437

Great tune!
Long-time guitar player, currently being humbled by a lap steel.

I like it very much, and I know how hard it is to play in that style. So, my hat to you!... J-D.

After someone replies, you can't delete it. Email or private message the moderator and ask them to move it.

Thanks..
Well, I suppose the moderators know this. If it doesn't bother them, it doesn't bother me.

They don't necessarily read or see every post. But many members post their videos here and nothing happens. I think I have even done it.
