Pickup Cover

Post by Ron Wendler »

I'm building a PSG and have this 10 string pickup for it. I'd like to put a cover on it so it doesn't look so unfinished. Is there such a thing available? Maybe one could be made on a 3D printer, not sure.

Is this a custom made pickup?

I don't think so. It is off a Little Buddy that I am rebuilding. It's much like the single coils used on earlier Sho-Buds I believe.

I just looked up some pics, looks like they just attached them with screws through the bottom flatwork. Looks like this company 3d prints a very similar pickup, and they do work on demand. Might be worth checking with them:

I couldn't find what I was looking for to give my pickup a cleaner look so I took some Kydex and molded one. I think it will do nicely.
